Sunday School

At First Presbyterian Church of Winnebago we offer Sunday School prior to our worship service beginning at 9 am. Currently we have Sunday School classes for PreK-1st grade, 2nd grade-4th grade, 5th-7th grade (Junior High), 8th Grade (Confirmation), 9th - 12th grade (High School) and 2 adult Sunday School Classes.

Children's Choir

Our Sunday School students, grades Prek-4th grade, participate in our Children's Choir, led by Kasey Benson. Our Children's Choir sings the 2nd Sunday of each month. Sunday School students in Children's Choir practice with Kasey from 9:50-10:15 following their Sunday School Lessons.

Youth Group

Youth Group meets at least once a month. Junior High youth group is grades 6-8 & High school youth group is for high school students. College students are invited to activities during college breaks. Past youth group activities have included games, movie nights, a lock in, holiday activities, etc.

We have also volunteered at the Rockford Rescue Mission and have done various other community service activities. Our youth group time is to have fun, make a difference in our community, and learn more about Jesus.

Work Camp

The Workcamper Mission Crew will be leaving Saturday June 22 for Middletown, Ohio. They will join campers from other states and denominations to serve residents in need with home repairs, painting, and/or building wheelchair ramps. There are four youth attending and two adults.
