Pastor's Corner

I greet you in the holy name of Christ our Lord. I hope that you had a blessed Christmas, and that the New Year has begun with God’s peace in your heart.

We have been honored with the opportunity of another year to provide this insecure world with the hope that is founded on the security of Christ’s message. This should enable us to enter the New Year with a refreshed heart and a renewed determination to fulfill Christ’s mission and ministry.

As we close one year and are blessed to enter another year, we need to continue allowing the Holy Spirit to enrich our relationship with Christ each and every day. Let us journey into 2019 with the Savior’s devotion and purpose. Offering Christ comes in many forms. Consider offering a helping hand, a phone call, an email, a personal visit or even an invitation to share a meal. Taking a few moments of your time to help others will provide the Holy Spirit a chance to work a miracle in someone’s life. Remember, “You will rise by lifting others.” (Robert Green Ingersoll)

Please take a few moments each day to talk with the Lord and listen carefully to the Bible’s instructions. Having these prayerful moments will help you remember the mission of our church: “To be a community of believers that love and follow God, love and support others, and offer Jesus Christ to the world.” These moments will also keep you clearly focused upon the depth of God’s love as the Apostle John declared: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16, KJV).”
